Multicenter trial

    In Trial design & structure

Also known as: multicenter trial, multi-site trial

A multicenter trial runs the same protocol at more than one site, often across several countries. It recruits faster and produces results that apply to a broader population. It also requires much more coordination: consistent training, harmonised procedures, and per-country regulatory and ethics approvals.
