Investigator site

    In Roles & organizations

Also known as: site, study site, trial site

The investigator site is the hospital, clinic, or practice where participants are actually seen and trial procedures happen. Each site has a principal investigator who is responsible for the conduct of the trial there, plus coordinators and other delegated staff. A multi-center trial runs the same protocol across many sites.
