Electronic consent (eConsent)

    In Running the trial

Electronic consent presents the consent information and captures the signature electronically, often with video, diagrams, or comprehension checks built in. It can be done on site or remotely, which makes it a common feature of decentralised trials. The electronic system and signature must meet the applicable electronic-records rules.
