A clinical project manager owns the delivery of a trial: its timeline, budget, resourcing, and vendors. The CPM coordinates the monitors, data managers, and site teams and is usually the sponsor's main point of escalation. It is normally a role people grow into after several years in a site, monitoring, or data role.
