Screen failure

    In Running the trial

A screen failure is a person who consented and was screened but did not meet the eligibility criteria and so was not enrolled. The reason must be recorded, and basic data about them is usually still reported. A high screen-failure rate at one site can point to a recruitment or eligibility-understanding problem.
