Re-consent

    In Running the trial

Re-consent is obtaining a participant's agreement again after important new information appears or the trial changes in a way that could affect their willingness to continue. Typical triggers are a new safety finding, a substantial protocol amendment, or a longer follow-up period. It uses the newly approved version of the consent form.
