Declaration of Helsinki

In Good Clinical Practice & ethics

The Declaration of Helsinki is a statement of ethical principles for medical research involving people, first adopted by the World Medical Association in 1964 and revised many times since. It establishes that the wellbeing of the individual participant comes before the interests of science and society. GCP explicitly requires trials to be conducted in line with it.
