A clinical trial assistant supports a study team with the administrative backbone of a trial. Typical work includes filing essential documents in the trial master file, tracking document collection from sites, arranging meetings, and maintaining trackers. It is a widely used entry point into sponsor and CRO organizations.
Why it matters
The CTA role is one of the most realistic first jobs at a sponsor or CRO, because it is judged on organization and accuracy rather than prior trial experience.
