    A pharmacovigilance associate processes and reports safety information about a medicine. Day to day that means reviewing reported adverse events, coding them to a standard dictionary, assessing whether they meet reporting criteria, and submitting reports within regulatory timelines. The role exists both during trials and after a product is on the market.
